It appears invites are only for the Americans, I tried to get an invite to Google’s new service.
It is trending in Alexa, so I thought to check it out. Mashable has a writing up on the service.
April sixteenth is known as “The Record Store Day”,
The old “seven inch” vinyl type of music way!
Drop by those old Record shops and take a quick look!
Memories of old stomping grounds of a cool nook,
Join the groovy “nostalgia seventies” sway!
*Please note if you do not use the record player anymore, stop in for support anyhow. Browse around and remember those old records. They also make interesting crafts such as a seven inch mobile outside, framing an old album, and if you are careful even an old clock. You simply purchase the “clock” from hobby shops to place it on the record.
On google trends Record Store Day stood out at me. It is on the 16th, to encourage you to go to the old stores because I am understanding the downloading online and other means is robbing the pleasure of shopping in these locations.
I see a few poems for this today while I am out at the Park later.
